She has trained with world champions and is completing her personal training qualification to help students build confidence, strength and enjoyment on the mats.

Not at all! Our Fundamentals class is designed for complete beginners. We teach everything from scratch, including how to fall safely, basic positions, and fundamental techniques. Everyone starts somewhere!
For your first class, wear comfortable athletic clothing (t-shirt and shorts or leggings). We have gis (uniforms) available to borrow. If you continue training, you'll want to purchase your own gi.
BJJ is one of the safest martial arts when practiced properly. We emphasize controlled drilling and tap early when caught in submissions. Our instructors ensure safe training practices at all times.
